Bulina was brought over to the Uk from Romania, having struggled to survive on the streets and evade the dog catchers. She was fostered by a lovely family in Norfolk who showed her what love and trust felt like. After 6 months she was adopted to her forever home. Unfortunately on the first day of her new life she escaped, still with collar and harness attached.
We have been recording sightings and know where she has settled but she is fast and healthy and will never be caught by human hands. A trap has been out for nearly a month now but she just trots past it. We have used lots of different food temptations but she is not taking the bait.
Being near busy road and farms with livestock, we have taken advice from expert trapping teams and have decided that darting her using a gps tracking dart is the only option left to get her to safety.
There are very few people who can offer this service as it is a licenced operation and not needed very often in the Uk. Therefore it comes with an expense.
The emotions we have been going through are like a rollercoaster, not knowing if she is safe from one day to the next, until we receive information of a sighting.
Please help us get Bulina safe. She deserves the new family life she has been offered, having been through so much in her past.
