Christine is 59, she found a bleeding mole on her back in 2011 and was told by her doctors that it was just her jeans irritating it. By the time they discovered it was melanoma, it had already spread. She had treatment and a year later it was back in her lymph nodes. She changed her diet, her way of living and her mental attitude and managed well until December 2015. Unfortunately in the floods of Storm Desmond she broke her ankle and then contracted Swine Flu. The cancer came back and through error it was misdiagnosed and went from stage 3 to stage 4. She has had access to alternative treatment, but it is expensive and the tumour is beginning to shrink slightly. She needs to go to Mexico in July 2017 for full treatment and we are looking to raise £20,000.
