Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the UK. 1 in 8 women in the UK and although rare a number of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. For most of them, it will be the toughest fight they will ever face.
As some of you know, or may not know our sister/sister-in-law is currently going through chemotherapy for breast cancer.
We want to support her and help raise awareness for breast cancer by shaving our hair off. For Rosie- she will be also donating her hair to the princess trust, and for both Craigs- we also hope to get a back and chest wax to top of the hair shave (watch this space). We all hope to rope it many more family members and will add their names with time.
The Charities we have picked are: Cancer Research and Breast Cancer Care Scotland. The money raised should be used within the country, helping others coping with the diagnosis of cancer. To learn more on these charities, please see their websites:
