Our friend Sarah Jane has a big fight on her hands and Maurice would be rooting for her all the way. Sarah Jane has an aggressive form of breast cancer that has now metastised to her liver, lung and brain. She is on her second round of chemotherapy and has had radiotherapy to her breast and brain. She is fighting with everything she's got. We first met Sarah Jane and her husband Pete at our NCT group. Maurice and I struck up a great friendship and their daughter Darcey is a day younger than Joshua. They also have a younger daughter Claudia 4. Maurice loved them all very much. I would have done anything to help Maurice if it meant he was here with us now and to have more time with his son. He would want the same for Sarah Jane.
She will need to start exploring other treatment options early next year, ones that the NHS don't provide. Please donate to my appeal in memory of Maurice and give to help someone so close to our hearts. Thank you xx
