Felix was caught in a Rabbit trap set by poachers.
Unfortunately he had to have his leg amputated.
Felix managed to crawl home somehow with a fractured femur, smashed tibia and his leg from the knee down had been degloved (the skin was taken completely off). His foot was unrecognisable and had practically been ripped off.
He was in severe pain and shock when I found him and he was rushed straight to the emergency vets where the inevitable happened.
Thankfully he survived this barbaric act of cruelty.
This left us with a huge vet bill as stupidly enough I didn't have him insured. ( I certainly have now). my own stupid fault and I feel terrible having to ask for help but here I am and I am personally asking everyone if they could donate whatever they can to go towards emergency admission, blood transfusions, amputation, medications and aftercare for Felix.
I will be forever grateful xxx
