George is a wonderful, brave 4 year old. He was born with a condition called Prader Willi’s syndrome and with scoliosis. The curve in George’s spine has become so great that it impacts on his internal organs, movement and leaves George in constant pain. At present George is too young for the operations needed to correct his spine so George has been fitted with a full body cast to support his spine while he grows. This cast has had a big impact on George‘s life, weighing 4kg and being very bulky, George is now learning how to balance and move around again. Due to the size of the cast George can no longer fit safely in his car seat. George lives in rural Norfolk, a tiny villige with a few houses, so transport is essential for everyday life. George needs a specialist car seat, costing over £4,000, to allow George to get back to the life he loves. George loves nursery, he misses it so much, but needs to travel in a car to attend.
