My grandad, Gordon Dunn who is turning 85 in July and a recent cancer survivor is doing a 12 mile sponsored walk on Monday, 8 April.
The purpose of this walk is to raise funds for The Princess Alexandra Cancer Research Centre, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
This is where he received his cancer treatment and a place very close to his heart as this is where his best friends also underwent treatment but sadly passed away.
Each year, around 393,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. On average someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer at least every 90 seconds.
The funds will help support the research for cancer patients. Cancer is something that effects everyone, please share and donate if you can, any help is greatly appreciated.
