My name is Gill. I am 50 years old and I have recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am due to have an operation followed by intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
I am going to cut my hair and donate this to the Little Princess Trust who provide wigs for children going through cancer and other life changing illnesses.
I would like to raise some money for our local Domestic Violence service Options which is part of Impact Family Services. Options support victims of domestic abuse and provide support with rehousing, lock changes, emergency accommodation and more. This is a life saving service and needs money to continue it's good work.
I want to take something bad happening to me and make it into something happy for others.
