    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

    Story

A small group of us that have spent time sleeping rough in the UK and that have seen the plight of the homeless in this country have decided that although the issues faced by the less privileged in this country are bad, they are miniscule in comparison to the issues faced by the children left with nobody and nowhere to go in war torn Syria. We have all seen the media coverage and we all believe that nobody should be exposed to that kind of life at such a young age. Children that have watched their families brutally killed are now left in horrific conditions that are furthering their suffering and we feel that this kind of injustice needs to be addressed. Most of us are currently living in hostels and are therefore of VERY limited means but we are unable to sit and do nothing. All funds raised will be used to buy toys and clothing, transport for them to get there and any additional funds we can muster will be spent on building materials and a team to build play areas/ parks in order to help provide orphaned refugees with the means to better their quality of life by giving them a safe haven where they can be together and start claiming back some sort of childhood. We would also appreciate any advice or help as we are not entirely sure on how to get the correct certification etc needed to enter these places to provide aid.
We are hoping to assist in any way possible in Syria before returning to the UK and we hope that there are other people out there that want to do something to help that maybe have better means but not the time or circumstances allowing them to actively be involved.
I think all that is left for me to say is thank you for showing enough interest to read this and please donate whatever you can...

Pain and injustice are facts of life, but sometimes all it takes is the kindness of strangers and a little compassion to make it a little less scarring.
Let's show them that war and suffering isn't all the world has to offer...
    Again, thank you...
