Story
Our 2017 Festival will bring together over 1000 women from the arts, business, charities & communities, design & technology and exercise & wellbeing.
The Festival Day on 4th March features a vibrant community festival with artistic and cultural workshops, performances, information stands and fun activities for kids. It also launches two major exhibitions which will run at Swindon Library, ArtSite's No9 Gallery and The Museum of Computing for weeks after.
It’s simple. International Women’s Day Swindon brings together women and girls from all backgrounds. It honours their contributions in Arts & Culture, Businesses, Communities & Charities, Design & Technology and Exercise & Wellbeing. It inspires, empowers and educates. Together we can create change.
Your contribution will help us make IWD Swindon an even more fabulous event. We want to turn International Women's Day into an exciting occasion for the whole town!
Your money will help us with paying for rent, utilities, workshops, materials, marketing cost and the creation of the exhibitions. We would also like to invite some wonderful inspirational speakers to support our event.
