I am running my fifth marathon at Stirling on the 21st May 2017 to support two charity's with your help, that mean a great deal to family, friends and myself.

The first is the SCBU ( special care baby unit) at the RAH which provided excellent care and support to my little boy Noah and many other babies in the west of Scotland.

The second is the Beatson West of Scotland, which has provided valuable care and support to many friends and family.

A massive thank you to each and everyone of you who has supported me during the the last four marathons, half marathons and this marathon. Todate I have raised over £4,500 for charity through running. Your encouragement and donations makes running so rewarding, knowing that many lives will benefit from the various charities supported throughout the years.

This marathon is especially meaningful to myself. Twenty months ago I couldn't walk the length of myself without help or lift my own baby. But with determination, hard work and support, nine months later I completed the Edinburgh half marathon, then a few months later I completed my second half marathon at Glasgow beating my PB. I'm not planing to smash any records but I am thankful and hourored to be able to run at the Stirling marathon and raise funds for these great causes.

For those who fight and those who fought ............. I am the storm.
