Dardas Diamonds and Troon Twirlers recently had 16 athletes compete in the Scottish baton twirling selection heat competition for the World International Cup Championships in the group event, team event and individual events, solo 1baton, solo 2baton, solo 3baton and artistic twirl.

All 16 athletes did a fantastic job and qualified to represent Scotland in all of the events in top places.

This means the athletes are now all heading to Croatia in August 2017 to take part in the World International Cup Championships. A potential once in a lifetime opportunity for these very talented young ladies who work extremely hard to be be the best they can be.

With you help and kind donations we are looking to raise as much money as we can to fund the athletes trip, travel, accommodation, equipment and competition expenses. As you can imagine the athletes are saving every penny they can to enable them to take part in this wonderful opportunity they have worked so hard for.
