This page has been created to raise funds for Linda Hebson and her son Jack. Jack has sadly just been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Hodgkin's lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's germ-fighting immune system.

Linda a single mum and self employed cake maker will now have to take a regular round trips to and nights in Newcastle Hospital. This is going to be a severe financial burden on the family to try and make ends meet as well as travel and accommodation costs.

Jack is a football mad 15 year old Penrith Lad. A caring and bright young lad with a bright future.

We've known since Tuesday 17th Oct but given the official news this morning that you have cancer....my 15yr old baby has cancer...hearing it today as his Mam for the second time, officially, still hurt as much as it did hearing 10days ago for the first time 💔 We've had to wait for the biopsy results to determine what type it was & I was told first thing this morning "Jack has Hodgkins lymphoma".

We spent 3 days in hospital in Newcastle last week with blood tests, a scan & a general aesthetic for a biopsy. He was like a pin cushion as turns out Jack doesn't give up his blood so easy.

You never complained once, even after two full days of nil by mouth from 7am. You've taken it all in your stride and been so brave.

Jack's got this, he's gonna fight it, it's a long road of 6months of treatment, but we've all got his back but most of all him & me have each other like we have always had and as I've found last week he's not to big to hold his Mam's hand or have a cuddle.

We all love you Jack, be strong, be brave and fight this 💙

In football terms like we said last week, by the time you've beat this it'll have been well and truly 'Mellished'! 💙
