After traveling Asia I came across this little place Near the city centre of cebu, phillipines. It touched my heart as soon as I got there and knew I wanted to help. As this was my last stop on my travels before returning to the uk I decided to spend a few days here and chat to the local about there life style and day to day life. Language isn't a barrier as most people speak English but have not had a good education. I knew I wanted to help these people first hand. There was a few trying to build there own house but with limited funds due to the daily wage being around £5 so I decided to donated 13,000 peso which was roughly £200. This meant they could get back to work and finish the building so it is water tight. To complete the building start to finish is roughly 63,000 peso which is around £1000 and this would be adequate for a family to live in for generations.

My aim is to raise money to help similar families have something that only we take for granted. They don't have community houseing nor rich families.

To help build a home family would be one amazing thing because as you can see from the pictures I took this is not a building you or me would call a home.

The global housing problem, as a world issue, is getting larger all the time. Did you know a city to support 5 million people needs to be built each week? And that is only to keep the problem from getting larger. Currently, about 1.5 billion people are living in an inadequate shelter.

So, Does this solve all the problems in the world today? No, but building houses does solve many problems for some families living in poverty.

I have got some donations of my own to help go towards the build so please please help these people in need. for me atleast what I have donated i can see the money being put to amazingly good use.
