Story
As many of you will know, a number of years ago the crossing patrol (lollipop man) that served Killamarsh Infant and Killamarsh Junior school was cut due to government funding.
Since that time the schools have taken on the task of self funding the cost of the crossing patrol. Sheffield Road is a busy road and the crossing patrol is important to keep our children safe when crossing the road.
As a parent Governor at Killamarsh Junior School and father of two school age children I want to do my part to help raise some money for this great cause.
On Saturday 25 March 2017 I will be running the Monsal Trail Half Marathon. I am relatively new to running and have certainly never run this sort of distance - it's certainly going to be a challenge. If anyone would be kind enough to donate anything in support of this cause it'd be very much appreciated. It'll certainly help drag me out of bed for my training runs.
All donations in their entirety will be given towards the school crossing patrol fund.
Thank you in advance.
