Hello Lewes’ friends,

It’s Lewes’ birthday at the end of the month and if anyone is in need of a nice surprise i think you will agree its him.
You are probably aware that Lewes has had a very tough couple of years but one thing that has helped him through it has been his artwork.
He has been trying to save some money for a long time to try and buy a little printing press but as he only works part time there has always been some bill or expense that has always come along and made him start all over again.
I would like to try and get everyone to contribute toward getting Lewes a press so he can make the work he wants to make or use the money to make some new stock for his market stall this summer.
Whatever he does with it i am sure the first thing he will make is a gift for each of you who donated so think of it as a fair trade.
So if you can please purchase a little print from him to give him a boost or contribute to the justgiving page i’ve set up we can give Lewes a happy birthday.
Please share with everyone who knows him but WHATEVER YOU DO please change the privacy setting so he doesn’t find out as the hardest thing to do is going to be making sure he doesnt find out as you know what he’s like and he will freak out.
