Little Heroes is a drop in group for parents and family of children with a diagnosis of or potential diagnosis of ASD up to 8 years of age.

Sensory processing issues cause many challenges for children with autism, due to NHS cuts this is something that local families do not get any assistance with unless they are able to pay privately for a sensory therapist. Little Hero's ASD Support Group have been looking into the possibility of arranging sensory training through a local sensory therapist, this can be given to parents/ carers on a large scale basis and will give them the information and training they need to be able to make positive changes for their own children and be able to take home ideas of what they can do (introduce at home) to help their child/ren etc. We have been quoted £350 and this would provide training for between 30 and 35 people do approx. is £10 per head.
