Rilee was "DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM" at 3 years of age.
Autism unpredictably causes Rilee to become extremely anxious, frustrated and scared. Due to these unmanageable feelings, his main response is self-harming.
Rilee is a very loving, caring and compassionate little boy who just wants to play, especially with his baby brother, Charly.
It's an absolute understatement to say how totally devastating and truly heartbreaking it is to see our child constantly causing physical harm to himself, then crying out in immense pain and becoming very sad because of it. It's like mental torture.
