Lucy was at the tender age of just 18 when she lost both parents just days either side of her 18th birthday. Being the eldest, She was left to care for her other siblings along with sorting out funeral arangements amongst other things. She was forced to drop out of college and found a stable job to support herself. 11 months later she met the love of her life, her husband Wayne.

10 years on and just 28 years old, she has received some sad news. After checking her breast and finding small lumps, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Just as she started to rebuild her life with Wayne and their beautiful daughter Nevaeh who is now 4 years old, it was turned upside down in the space of a 5 minute conversation.

Lucy has started to lose her hair and has became poorly through chemotherapy and in support of her, wayne has decided to brave the shave. He will be raising money to give his soul mate the respite she most truly deserves.
