Story
Meet MJ - He has Hepatoblastoma (Liver Cancer)
He is a bubbly 3 year old little boy that suddenly became ill. His mum took him to the doctors and was immediately taken into hospital for tests. He has since been diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, Liver Cancer. Fortunately the doctors feel that there is a chance he will be cured because they have caught it early, but he will have to undergo several weeks of Chemotherapy, and Liver resection and then further Chemotherapy.
I am sure you will agree that a child this age needs his parents by his side, to help him achieve a full recovery. To do this his parents need to take time off work meaning that they don’t get paid. The balance is work or spending time caring for their little boy, a definite decision I wouldn’t want to make.
What we are asking for is donations to help towards his parents being able to take time off to care for their little boy. Please help and donate. polly’s Angels are also supporting and will try and help raise funds towards donations.
Give this little boy a chance to have a full life with his parents by his side! Thank you.

7 years agoAn update from MJs mum. 6th December 2017 MJ woke with stomach pains. MJ had blood test/ ultra. His ultra sound revealed a huge 12cm lump in his liver. Tests started at ward 84 Manchester Childrens Hosp, bloods/ cannulas/ blood transfusion. MJs consultant told us it was Heptoblastoma stage 2. MJ started his chemotherapy. 6hrs and 30hrs hyper hydration. 24th December MJ had an infection in his Hickman line! He was due to have a liver resection on the 22nd February at Leeds Royal Infirmary. Complications stopped this. Please support us. 😇

7 years agoWell what an update. Things were going so well fo MJ, but he has come into contact with somebody who has chickenpox, so off to hospital he goes again for injections and further chemo. His operation to remove the tumour has also been postponed due to complications. I am not asking for much as no parent should have to go through this. Please continue to help his parents remain with him throughout his ordeal. He really is a little fighter. Check out his pictures. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mjsfundforcancer

7 years agoThe treatment is working. MJ goes to Leeds this week for his operation. He will then need further chemo. His parents have had to buy a new pram something they never thought they would have to for a 3 year old. Please keep donating. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mjsfundforcancer/update we really do want to get to the target by the end of January. Thank you. Xx
