On Sunday 2nd July we finally got to the start line of the Marmotte Gran Fondo after months of training. Am pleased to say that we all finished together after an arduous day in the saddle. Even though finishing in bright sunshine on Alpe D'huez it was different conditions with wintry feel over the cols that we conquered throughout the day. A little mechanical to test us on the way also but in all a great ride from the 4 boys inspired by their great mate Martin. A big thanks to all the support shown and as Martin would say. Bonjour xx

A good craic was had in the club with Andrew being true to his word having his beard shaved. A good amount of donations with some offline donations being made too. Many thanks and am sure you would say he is a new man

With just over 2 weeks to go for the Marmotte the team are going well and final preperations are underway. So a big thank you to everyone so far on the donations received. It has been amazing. Also in a fund raiser to run kind of parallel to ours, our friend from "The Bynea Massive" Mr Andrew Grist is soon to shave off his beard. The ZZ top wannabe is now asking for a bit of loving and all your hugs and kisses too to help Martin. Any donations for Marmotte or beard shaving greatly received.
