Mason was diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in 2015.
We immediately began to search online to see what therapies were available to help Mason learn how to talk, gain social skills and give him the best start to life that we could.
We quickly discovered ABA therapy, which is unfortunately quite costly so we completed various courses so we could begin helping Mason. We met Skybound Autism Therapies at the Autism Show in London. We knew immediately that we wanted them to run Mason's ABA.
Even though we haven't been able to fund a full time program for Mason, he has been havig weekly home sessions and is lucky to be part of Focuse West London, an ABA Saturday school which is ran by volunteers.

The progress Mason has made is incredible. He is now talking, he is beginning to play with his peers, he is able to ask us for things he wants or needs, he is using the toilet, and he can now respond to his name.

We are taking Mason to Skybound for a weeks intensive course at the end of July. Mason will have a dedicated team to help him learn new skills. Skybound will also train us up to make sure we are giving Mason therapy in the right way. Jessica, Mason's 7 year old sister, will also learn more about ABA so that Mason can learn through playing with her.

We are going to Skybound in Wales for three days, but we are looking to raise an extra £1200 so that we can get an extra two days of therapy while we are there.
