Weʼve raised £1,040 to Create the "Memories of Rank Xerox at Mitcheldean" website to record the history from 1940 onwards. Also to enhance the Xerox Museum.

Story
We are planning to tell the story of the Mitcheldean Plant from Wintles Brewery to British Acoustic Films (BAF) to Rank Precision Industries (Bell & Howell) through Rank Xerox to Xerox.
This will mean creating a Website which will contain images, interviews, memories etc. Monies will be used to create the website and ensure its maintenance for coming years.
Additionally, with the agreement of the Parish Council, we plan to enhance the Xerox Museum in the Town Hall. There will be an exhibition of products, memorabilia and a timeline around the walls which tells the story visually.

7 years agoVERY MANY thanks folks. This now takes us to £1965 (including cheques received and donations direct to the "Memories" bank account. This Just Giving site with close down in a couple of days and the monies will be transferred to the project bank account. Donations by Direct Transfer to the "Memories" account or by cheque will be welcomed.

As of this evening, if we combine these donations with those made directly to the Memories Bank Account and the cheques to be banked we have a total of £1500. This represents 60% of our target. Very many thanks to everyone. Please mention this to friends and family and get us across the line. Really appreciate your contributions.
