I and 24 other students are fundraising for our once-in-a-lifetime trip to Nepal in 2018.

As well as having loads of fun trekking and whitewater rafting we will be helping out with local charities:
Practical Action Nepal - UK charity who provide low-cost technology and knowledge to vulnerable communities to assist in reducing poverty
Gurkha Welfare Trust
Annapurna Conservation Area Project - Ecotourism and environmental education to locals and tourists alike
International Mountain Museum - investigation the flora and fauna of the region.

We'll be undertaking a number of tasks including
-building a new school classroom and health clinic
- extensive renovation of old classrooms or clinics
- provision of safe drinking water
- teaching English to young monks (some as young as 7!)

We expect to run several fundraising activities over the next 18 months:
First up for me is a 5k Inflatable Run on 18th March
