She's coming again tomorrow but has already said it didn't look as bad as she thought so well done Olly, job done! Today's blood results show that his HB has dropped below the threshold for children having radiotherapy so we're waiting a transfusion to start - just my luck as he'll no doubt be bouncing off the walls when I'm trying to fall asleep! Quick update as Olly has finally given in and gone to sleep! He's been in hospital since Tuesday morning for his last dose of topotecan this cycle and then the 48 hour infusion of vincristine. He's been in great spirits, riding around the ward on his drip stand and being his usual cheeky self. He was very brave in radiotherapy this morning as a little girl on the ward went down with him to watch (she's very anxious about having radiotherapy and they thought that watching someone else go through it would make it less scary for her).
