As most of you may know I am currently studying to become a general nurse. As part of this course I am obligated to complete 3000 hours of unpaid work in different healthcare settings.

I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to complete some of these hours in a developing country. I will be working full time alongside other healthcare professionals in hospitals and remote villages. This opportunity will give me invaluable insight into the healthcare inequalities across the world, with little funds and medical equipment I will be faced with many challenges which will help guide me through the rest of my career.

I have chosen to visit Africa, I will be there for 4 weeks helping diagnose and treat patients with unfamiliar conditions and provide much needed medical support.

The whole experience is estimated to cost around £3000. Funding this alone seems like an impossible task so anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated to help me fund this once in a lifetime experience that will stay with me forever x
