Rainsbrook Building,

As members and recent visitors will see we have been making steady progress on our building. We have achieved our initial objective of getting a watertight and secure building with two fully functioning toilets,one of which is wheelchair friendly.

Our next objective is to open the cafe area and begin selling refreshments again giving visitors the opportunity to sit in comfort watching the trains operate.

Good as the building looks the outside is far from finished and our plan is to have it rendered with a coloured render to make it as stunning as our artists impression.

But we need your help to proceed this project.

To date this project has been totally funded by the club and members making donations or short term loans of which we are grateful. However this means no more work on the outside of the building will be possible until these short term loans are repaid.

We have therefore decided to open a crowdfunding page on our website so that public running visitors and website users can donate money ,if they are able, specifically to get the outside of the building absolutely complete.

We estimate this will cost around £10,000 so that is our target.

We realise that times are tough at present but we at Rainsbrook believe our ticket prices our really good value for money so if you have enjoyed your time with us a donation would be really appreciated either via our donation box or via our website.

And we can assure you that every penny donated will be used to finish off the outside of the building.
