    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

    Story

Founded by A. Keith Christie and Christine Brown (above) in January 2015, Renaissance Horizon is a not for profit registered Community Interest Company (CIC:09772390). Renaissance Horizon’s services are for anyone in recovery from drug or substance abuse and/or addiction. Our primary aim is to facilitate recovering addicts to return to and/or develop a creative, fully active life, employment and self-defined significance in society. We do this by providing a low cost personal counselling service , delivered by qualified and registered psychotherapists. Due to the demand for our services we are now looking to expand our provision to greater numbers of clients, and to add additional services, including:

    Dramatherapy
12 Step Support (Adaptation of the Minnesota Model)
    Living and Social Skills Courses
    Developing Creativity and Talents
    Relaxation: Yoga and Meditation
Basic Maths and English Skills Courses
Full Funding or Part Funding for Professional Training for clients
    Work Experience/Applying for work/CV Presentation

We have the skills, experience and commitment necessary, we simply need greater funding to establish these new services now, whilst we work on our ongoing funding plans to support their continuation in the future. Please consider making a donation to help our vital work in the community.
