The final mileage . .

That was the hardest thing I've ever done. I dragged myself round bit by bit. I was exhausted at 30 miles and doubted I would finish from that point all the way to the finish. Friends, family, singing barmen (thanks for the great welcome and send off at the Blue Ball in Braunston), and my fellow runners kept me running and kept my spirits up. Thank you to all the donators so far - next time someone rents a light weight wheelchair from Rutland Healthcare Support I hope their journey is easier than the Round !

Well looking at the weather for Saturday the three amigos may well need our sombreros! Just about to shop for supplies and to pack the kit bag in readiness for a crazy day. 21 park runs to go . . I think that's how I'll count down the distance - one park run's worth at a time. Good luck to all the Vetruvians and their epic challenge - see you at the pub !
