Story
Hello, we are trying to raise £200 for Ryan Gilmurray to help buy him a new wheelchair! Ryan is 11years old and has the most severe form of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus which has meant that he is completely paralysed from below the waist and has excessive water on the brain. He has had over 15 major surgerys including brain surgery at a few hours old which is the reason he is alive today!
Ryan is one incredible fighter and everyday is a battle! In recent weeks Ryan has had multiple operations and procedures done but this has meant that he died 4 times during surgery! Thankfully! He thought through and is here today!
Ryan is a full time wheelchair user and is at mainstream secondary school but the wheelchair that is provided by the NHS is unsuitable. He has a manual chair which he has to push himself and it is poorly fitting and really does not help in anyway to his daily life. We need to raise £12,000 to buy him an electric wheelchair which will mean he could be like all of the other children, have his own independence and just enjoy life a lot more.
If anyone could help it would be incredible as Ryan is one inspirational, happy and the loveliest young man ever and we are just trying to improve his life and help him have the independence an 11 year old deserves!
