About Xanthe

She is a 9 year old girl who is truly determined and the bravest !
When she was a baby she contracted pneumococcal meningitis , which caused her to have a major stroke and left her on a life support machine for 2 weeks. Xanthe survived but is severely disabled as a result of her illness; she cannot talk, and she is just learning to walk and she has chronic epilepsy which is life limiting , but Xanthe isn't a sad or quiet person ! Far from it ! She screams with happiness , and wants to walk, and be a part of life .

To help reach her goals , we have to give her as much 1:1 threapy as she can have , as the NHS can't provide enough.

This is an expensive job!

So I am going to brave it and shave all of my hair off On CHRITSMAS EVE !
In the hope that it will make a difference to Xanthe's life; everything that is raised will pay for more speech therapy , physcio and occupational therapy , helping Xanthe to fulfill her potential .
