I am taking to a different saddle for this challenge... from horse to bike and whilst thankfully I have not had to use their services we all know people who have benefitted from the amazing services of the local air ambulance. So half of this money raised will go to the Great North Air Ambulance.
It costs £4.5m per annum to keep the 3 airdcraft airborne and serviceable. We are trying to raise £2.000 which is just about enough for one shout.
The second cause is also close to home and we need to raise money to retile the lodges at the kennels. This is all about the welfare of the hounds. We are looking to aim for another £2,000 for this cause.
With our 10 riders we are trying to raise a total of £4,000.
