Shining Stars ASN Theatre School is a theatre school for children and young adults with a wide range of additional support needs. The group meet once a week, soon to be twice a week.
The activities the group offer are; drama, musical theatre, dance, drama therapy and a makaton choir. It also offers parents/carers much needed respite.

The group has recently been awarded with makaton friendly status from the makaton charity.

Shining Stars run on volunteers and the kindness of the public for donations. Although, we receive some small funding now and again. We really appreciate everything everyone does for us, but our group is growing and we need to do a little bit more.

We have a team of volunteers, parents, and other members of our stars' families who are taking part in the kiltwalk on the 30th of April to help raise funds. The kiltwalk is a 23 mile walk (wish us luck!).
These funds will be put back in the pot to help us purchase a purpose built studio to meet some of our young people's needs. It will also help us buy resources that we really need to help the young people get the best experience out of the group.
