When you look back at your childhood, the days that stand out in your memory, the times that were special to you , I bet that at least one of those memories includes a trip, a journey, a holiday; an adventure!
If you are a parent , you'll know that providing your children with these opportunities is one of the best parts of being a parent , so we are hoping to raise money to create just that, an adventure of our own.

In May 2017 Sproatley juniors Under 9s will enter what will be their first European Football Tournament
We truly believe this trip is important for our team for two reasons: obviously one reason is for their football development but also, just as importantly, the other reason is for their personal development.
 
Our boys are competitive, passionate and committed to their football.  The team have a desire to win and do their best but they also want to learn, to explore ways to play better and keep developing as a team.
And their coach Gary Barker is determined to help them do this.

Gary has already enabled the boys to take part in many football experiences both locally and further afield, playing local academy teams and in several out of town  tournaments. this has given the boys opportunities to develop their football. However, this European trip will enable them to learn and develop further.

They will experience different ways of playing football ,different coaching styles and different facilities
They will have to work together as a team, they will have to bond to compete in strange surroundings which are out of their comfort zones. They'll travel to a country which is new, they'll experience different cultures and people and food and money,
 In essence they'll be learning, growing and developing as individuals and as team and making a memory that will last a lifetime!
