    Story

Preserve the Heartbeat of Atherstone: Save St. Mary's Tower Clock

St. Mary's Church is not just a Grade II* listed parish church; it's the soul of Atherstone. Rooted in history that may stretch back to the 12th century, this architectural marvel has been a silent witness to our community's highs and lows. But today, its clock—the heartbeat of our town—has fallen silent. Three weeks ago, the mechanism that keeps the clock ticking and the chimes ringing came to a halt.

This clock is more than gears and hands; it's a keeper of our collective moments—of joy, sorrow, and the daily rhythms of life. Now, it's our turn to give back time. We're on a mission to raise £3,500 to restore this beloved landmark to its former glory.

Any funds raised beyond our goal will be restricted for the clock's future maintenance, ensuring it continues to mark our lives for generations to come.

Join us in this community-driven endeavour. Let's make the heart—and clock—of Atherstone beat again!
