Story
Defibrillator for St John Fisher Primary School
We only need £850!
Emergency First Aid Ltd are taking on the huge task of raising money to put a Defibrillator in all the Schools and Nursery's we provide training for (This will be our sixth). We will also be providing free training. This is everything we believe in and have been working towards.
Our staff, shareholders and family will be taking on various challenges in the next few years to achieve this. We have already completed a:
60 mile cycle
Hike up Pen Y Fan
3 mile Open Water Swim!!
Woburn Abbey Triathlon
10km race in Epping Forest
Off Road Beach Head Marathon
Currently training for the 24 Mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
We are also relying on Staff, students and Parents to help however they can.
Sadly 270 children die in the UK per year after suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at school
If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74% which is incredible.
A Full Defibrillator Package costs roughly £850 so we have a massive challenge.
Please share and support this project, any donations or fund raising ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Deep breath let's go!!!
