Salam everyone.
My wife's been talking to me over the few weeks of her best friends mother who has been battling with stage 4 cancer for the last 2 years. Suaad and her mother and father have been living in dubai for some decades. They are an average family with an average income that has been getting them by all these years alhamdulillah.
However, since the diagnosis in 2015, they've had to go India as the medical costs in dubai were too expensive and start treatment. Suaad's mother has since been in and out of the hospital being treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other treatments. The costs of the treatment have since been spiralling and has taken its toll on Suaad's father as he refused to ask for help from others and genuinely felt he could manage it. It has now come to a point where he has completely ran out of money, despite Suaad herself working, but is nowhere near enough to main her on going medical costs.
Just a couple of days ago, Suaad's mother was readmitted to hospital and is currently in ICU, needing immediate supportive treatment for cancer which will cost them a staggering £4000 for a week. Suaad and her family are unaware of the initiative me and my wife have take to help, but feel we should at least try and do our best within our capacity.
I ask you you to support this struggling family with whatever amount you can inshallah to help alleviate the suffering of poor suaads mother and Allah will reward you abundantly.
Allah says in the Quran "whoever saves a soul is as though he/she has saved the entire mankind".
God forbid, if it was our mother's suffering similarly, we would do everything possible within our capacity, and alhamdulillah whoever I am reaching to with this message has adequate wealth and rizq given by Allah, alhamdulillah to give that support. Let's take this initiative to support this helpless family where a mother/wife has been battling on for the last 2 years only for the family to now have nothing available.
