Story
The new camp which is goverment supported but set up by Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) is situated in Dunkirk just off of junction 54. The camp hold 2500 refugees whom are given a very small ply wood structure and basic amenities. There are people of all ages and health. We spoke to a journalist from Syria who shared his devastating experiences of escaping from his homeland. We also saw women and children on the camps which was a shock as the media no longer shares this information. Basically they need help to wind proof and waterproof these tiny sheds over the winter, for food, clothes and basic comforts. Even though this camp is temporary they still need to make best with what they have. The donations will help to buy products which we can use to repair the structures. We will be working with a organisation called help refugees, to work in the camp giving hands on support. I am to go over in a few weeks so even a few pound will make all of the difference.
Thank you
