Teddy is my best friend and my Super Dog. My name is Phoebe and I am 7 years old and have had Type 1 Diabetes since I was 3.5 years old with very little Hypo Awareness. I have to be tested loads. I never wake at night to a hypo or hyper. Teddy is learning to tell Mummy and Daddy if I am high or Low both of these can have serious health complications if not treated, even fatal. He is a Diabetic Alert Dog in Training with a new local charity called Hypo Hounds. When I am high or low he needs to learn to get my kit and alert me or mummy and daddy until I am tested which can help save my life. It costs £8,000 to train a dog to become a diabetic alert dog. Teddy is being helped by a new local charity called Hypo Hounds, please help me raise funds to go towards his training.
