These beautiful Mares were due for slaughter after weaning and the oldest we think is about 5!!

The future of the foals would probably be for slaughter too when they were 'big' enough.

A wonderful lady from North Wales got in touch and organised the rehoming and she also donated towards the transportation of the families.

At the Mane & 3 R's we know what these horses can offer us. They give us a great deal of pleasure just watching them in the field, grooming them, watching them all develop into confident happy horses that can provide us all with hours of enjoyment. Once they are old enough we will look for suitable homes for these wee darlings and their mums will be begin their education into riding or driving (or both) and work with our 'Healing through Horses Programme'.
