Story
The Union of Liberian Organisations in the UK (ULO-UK) launched a Christmas Kids Project for children in Liberia on Saturday 30th of July in Sheffield.
The aim of the project is to give children a smile at Christmas by donating food, clothes and toys to children in orphanages and in hospitals near Monrovia on Christmas day.
Some of the items will be given to a hospital in Lofa County, Liberia. This project is being undertaken in collaboration with Wales Liberia Connect (WLC), a charity based in Wales. ULO-UK needs to raise £2,000 to pay for the transfer of over 2 tonnes of food, clothes and toys from Skandavale in Wales to Monrovia, Liberia.
