I am currently at University in my first year and studying to complete a Bachelors degree, unfortunately this has not been easy for me at all..

Its an all too common story of mental illness that I know affects a lot of people all over the world, I completely understand that there are those out there in a much more dire situation than me but this page is for my family. They have paid an extraordinary amount of money to help me get to this point where I can function and make it to university. Money that they really don't have. A little background on my situation:

I am diagnosed with several mental illnesses, including borderline personality disorder, severe anxiety, clinical depression and mood congruent psychosis. These diagnosis' led to my hospitalization on inpatient wards many times through self harm and destructive behavior, I also want to mention the fact that I have been a victim of sexual abuse twice in my life, also leading to the diagnosis of PTSD, it has put my family under immense pressure and I constantly feel like a burden, however they have always been there to pick up the pieces regardless.

This page is to ask any of you who could possibly help to help me give something back to my parents, the sad fact is that I relapsed badly during my first year last year and failed my year, I am back on track now but my parents have had to double the money they have paid so far for that first year to support me. I have tried to get a job and work around my 'episodes' currently but it is just not cutting it due to the unpredictability of mental illness and I know they are struggling to keep everything going for me.. I just want to be able to give something back to them and this is one of the ways I am trying to make up for being a lot more 'work' than others, even if it means I can just give something back.
