On 9th March 2017, Hayley, myself and some amazing ladies will be leaving for the immense slopes of Kilimanjaro.

We are endeavouring to climb this fine beast of a slope in order to raise a target of £20k for 2 charities that offer support in times of struggle; Southmead Maternity Charity and The Birth & Wellbeing Fund; a charity that provides massage, counselling and a developing network of therapies for women, partners and maternity staff struggling with issues associated with pregnancy, birth and new parenthood.

This crowdfund will provide vital help Hayley and I need to get to Kilimanjaro. Already, by working extra shifts, doing massage clinics for donations, cutting mountains of fine hair (thankfully Hayley's skills, not mine!) and some early, valuable donations, we have each raised over £800, but still need to raise another £3400. Alongside this page, we are of course also keep doing everything else we can to get the money together we need to do this immense trip.

We didn't want to bring in our trip fundraising with the main charity fundraising page, we appreciate you may not want to think you are donating straight to charity only to find percent of the donation is going to the journey itself. Hence the separate fund.

If you can help, for example you would buy us a pint perhaps if we bumped into you....please could you show your support here instead by donating a few pounds this way? We are not out drinking anyway, so your support for this crowdfund is especially valuable in keeping us on the straight and narrow !!

We are now training, seeking all the equipment and mountainwear we need, we are working hard. If you can spare a few of your shiny pennies to show your support and keep us going until we get elevating in March, we will be forever grateful!
