Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
This year our Daughter Holly (16) will be hopefully going with her school to Nepal. She will be working in a school over there teaching and helping the children with English. She can only do this if she raises enough money to go thorough this and fund raising herself, she has been doing different things over the summer to raise money and has managed to get £250 so far but still needs to raise £2,000 and that's where we need your help even if it's only £5 it will all help and is greatly appreciated. This is the itinerary for her trip!
Project – Day 1
Shubhakamana Academy: this is a private school in the countryside. Project work here will be teaching and informal conversational English.
Teaching Project Day 2
Visit to Dakhisnkali Temple – Kathmandu Valley
Visit Swayambunath – the infamous monkey temple where you will climb a few hundred steps to enlightenment (not guaranteed). The view from the incredible Buddhist temple is incredible (guaranteed).
Kathmandu – half day tour
Visit Sankhu village and Vajra Yogini temple.
Teaching Day 3
Visit Boudnath – the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal. Wander around rubbing shoulders with the Tibetan monks
Project Day 4
Thank you for reading this and we hope you can help, we really appreciate any donations so that Holly can have this great opportunity to help the children on Nepal.
Kind regards Wendy and Holly
