Story
Wye Float is a new kind of adventure, which is hoping to attract thousands of people from all over Europe to visit the River Wye in Hereford. The idea originated from a festival in Finland called the Kaljakellinta also known as "Beer Float", which has been an annual event since 1997 and this year attracted over 5,000 participants to the capital of Finland, Helsinki.
Wye Float requires participants to float down a set route of the River in various kinds of inflatables, dinghies, swimming pools, or self built rafts. The event has no official organizer, and no set date for the event just yet, but please keep checking our Facebook page "Wyefloat" to keep up to date on routes, dates or times and any other information regarding this event.
The day will hopefully end with a organised after party at a local Bar/ Nightclub.
As this is our first year floating down the river in a big group of friends, we need your help to spread the word and make this event international and happen every year. So like and share our Facebook page, and share our video below.
