have a good lifelong friend called "Steven", his whole life looked well rosey, had a great career (One of the youngest store branch managers in the company), Married with 2 great kids, however unknown to him he had a ticking time bomb which would change and turn things up down for Steven.

Then it happend stuck without warning, Steven has having issues with headaches and serve pain, it felt almost an eternity Stevens family until the doctors diagnosed him with " Chairari Syringomyelia" (Syringomyelia, often referred to as SM, is a chronic disorder involving the spinal cord. The condition occurs when cerebrospinal fluid (normally found outside of the spinal cord and brain) enters the interior of the spinal cord, forming a cavity known as a syrinx.This syrinx often expands and elongates over time, destroying the centre of the spinal cord. As the nerve fibers inside the spinal cord are damaged, a wide variety of symptoms can occur, depending upon the size and location of the syrinx.) which is a chronic illness and lifelong disability. Steven had to leave his promising career due to this dilabateing condition and his wife also gave up her job to be a full time career.

Over time Stevens condition got worse and its affected him that he cannot longer walk long distances and gets tired very easily, this means he spends most if not all time in the house and unable to go outside to enjoy time with his kids, when they go on holiday Steven will stay in the caravan whilst his wife and kids goes out do thngs.

This causes Steven to be depressed as he unable to go out with his family and thus makes him more ill, as both him and his family cannot work they don’t have a lot of money and the local authority will not grant him a mobility scooter due to budget constraints.

He has helped me in the past during my childhood a many of time and therefore i want to help to get a mobility scooter so he can go and out enjoy his family.
