Dear the reader,

When June 2018 rolls around I am hoping to fulfil a dream of mine to go to visit the Amazon Rainforest. I've found a perfect opportunity that will allow me to go over to Ecuador and to volunteer my blood sweat and tears in doing my bit to help conserve the rainforest and the trip will last two weeks.

Here are some details of what I will be doing:

'Volunteers participate in basic construction, reforestation and trail maintenance assignments. Volunteers may also be involved in organic farming initiatives. Tasks include maintaining medicinal gardens, working in tree nurseries and participating in activities like compost maintenance and seed collection. Additionally, depending on the time of year, volunteers can visit the local Quichua community to work on the agriculture, conservation and education projects the community is involved in.'

I am certain that these two weeks will really aid me in my future development as a person, and will hopefully help shape my ideology and inevitably what I wish to achieve and strive to change in the world. Furthermore, the two weeks will help me become more aware of the world and more empathetic towards the wildlife, the people and the nature in that part of the world.

The trip isn't going to be a cheap one, especially seeing as I'm a student living in London, working 2 jobs whilst studying just to save a little bit of money. Any donation towards the £650.00 would be massively appreciated.

Just know that if you choose to donate some money to my cause, you will be benefitting the world in a few ways. Through the donation, you are contributing to helping conserve the rainforest because you are sponsoring me to do the work when I'm out there. Furthermore, you are helping aid my development as an adult in the world, and it is very likely that the trip will have a massive influence on my life and therefore will have a huge influence on the world within the coming decades as I plan to do everything I can to fulfil my purpose and to benefit society in many ways.

In essence, if you are willing to sponsor me I would appreciate anything you could provide, and it will not be forgotten!
