Don't have time to donate right now?
Cal is running 26 gruelling miles to raise funds for ADHD Aware and will be a long, long way from home! Please give generously.
I am a community development support worker employed by Brighton based charity The Trust for Developing Communities and I support a range of community groups.
I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 26th May to raise funds for 'ADHD Aware' based here in Brighton. Please donate generously to this fantastic organisation which provides invaluable advice, information and support for people across Brighton and Hove and beyond.
A bit about ADHD Aware and what it does....
ADHD Aware is an umbrella organisation run entirely by volunteers, they organise two Brighton based monthly peer support groups for those living with ADHD, a drop-in session and a monthly group discussion. The organisation provides a safe space where those with ADHD discuss what is like living with a learning disability, they share experiences and provide advice, hence support and empower one other.
A third session is dedicated to their families, friends and partners, this group enables those close to people living with ADHD gain a deeper understanding of their condition and to find some solidarity.
Any funds raised will allow ADHD Aware to keep providing a venue for the increasing number of members and to maintain the ADHD Aware website and keep it updated with useful resources.
ADHD Aware really makes a huge difference in the lives of their members!
Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts.
