Me and lee Neal will be running the Birmingham marathon in October to raise money for the Geoff Horsfield foundation
So basically a couple of weeks ago lee had the crazy idea of entering the Birmingham marathon!!! neither one of us has never competed in an event or ran further than 10 miles so this is a big challenge for us both,but it's one I'm up for putting my all into. And after a bit of thought I decided to raise money for the Geoff Horsfield Foundation,a charity who provide quality,safe,secure and supported accommodation for vulnerable adults across the West Midlands area. With it being a great cause and Geoff being one of my footballing heroes plus a good friend of mine it made sense for me to chose this charity. My training is underway and I'm exited about the next 5 months of torture haha. It would be great if we could raise as much money as possible for the foundation.
The project started in 2016, and the aim of the Foundation is to provide a measurable service with a sustainable impact on homelessness, vulnerability and its echo effect on the local community. The Foundation prides itself on providing quality, safe and secure housing accommodation for vulnerable adults who have fallen through the current support network.

Between the pair of us we are hope in to raise £1000
So the foundation could take there residents on day out just to give them a lift and raise there spirits something to look forward to as many of the residents has never had any thing to look forward to so hopefully we can change that.
