Story
Alec is an 8 year old boy with a life ending disorder know as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. DMD affects Alec's muscles and he is reliant on his wheelchair for long periods of the day, he is in need of modern up to date lifting equipment so his day to day movement around the house can be improved.
Lily Still and Mia Corney are two young ladies who care enough to want to help. These girls will be looking to have there heads shaved for this cause and hopefully not only raise funding to support Alec but to donate the hair to The Little Princess Trust.
If anyone knows Lily (15) and Mia (14), they will know what a big deal this is for them, they have long beautiful hair that most girls would die for. For them to shave it off in this manner deserves all the support they can get.
Lily and Mia currently attend Banbury Academy and will be holding the big shave event at the school on the last day of term, the 18th December.

7 years agoMany who know me know that I'm not a one word kinda guy but I have to say I'm practically speechless. After setting a modest target, although £500 wasn't an easy feat we believed if we set an achievable figure then the girls wouldn't be under to much pressure. Well!! What an amazing pair they are, they have smashed the through the target figure and it looks like it isn't stopping anytime soon. Who knows, a full ceiling track may become a reality sooner rather than later. Super, Super well done ladies.. Let keep this train rolling...
